Ryan M. Pott is a member of Taylor-Busch and is one of the firm’s litigation practice and general counsel senior attorneys. Mr. Pott has a wide range of experience as outside counsel to several companies as well as litigating cases in both state and federal courts, arbitration, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Pott is licensed to appear in all Georgia State Courts, Georgia Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of Georgia, United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Pott’s principal areas of practice include general corporate counsel, business and commercial litigation, employment & restrictive covenants, real estate and land use litigation, corporate contracting and appellate issues. Mr. Pott has represented the firm’s corporate clients in all types of disputes including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, securities litigation and business torts, as well as land use and local government matters.
Mr. Pott served as lead litigation associate for several years at Weisman, Nowack, Curry & Wilco, P.C. and Gambrell & Stolz, LLP [now Baker Donaldson]. Mr. Pott is a speaker on litigation issues and has been involved in publishing articles on land use and suits against local governments. Mr. Pott graduated from University of Georgia School of Law. Mr. Pott received his undergraduate degree in Political Science/Pre-Law program from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.
