Jason Greene primarily concentrates in the business transactions and tax practice areas (including emphasis on issues involving partnerships, limited liability companies and other joint ventures).
Mr. Greene's business transactions practice involves representing real estate developers, investors and owners with respect to commercial, residential, investment, and mixed-use properties; representing clients in various aspects of joint ventures, including drafting and negotiating partnership agreements, limited liability company operating agreements and tenant-in-common agreements; advising clients with respect to choice of entity and organizational structure; and representing clients in various aspects of corporate, partnership and limited liability company acquisitions and dispositions.
Mr. Greene's tax practice involves federal and state income tax planning and advice, including tax planning and advice with respect to real estate developers, investors and owners; like-kind exchanges; tenant-in-common arrangements; corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and S corporations; tax-free and taxable dispositions and acquisitions; restructuring of financially troubled companies; organization and financing of start-up companies; REMICs; REITs; state and local tax matters; and tax controversy matters.
Prior to joining Taylor-Busch, Mr. Greene was counsel at Powell Goldstein, LLP in its tax and corporate departments. |
